Vincent Lomenech

worked in his native France until undertaking further studies in London where he qualified in 2003 with a BA(Hons) in Paper Conservation from Camberwell College of Arts – one of only 2 courses in the country. Since then he has worked for one of London’s leading private paper restoration workshops where he has undertaken a wide range of highly specialised work for the trade.
Clients included map and book dealers Phillip Burdon, Bernard Shapero and Jonathan Potter
, specializing in early printed maps and books, from C15th- C18th.

His  work as a conservator is also accompanied and complimented by his several years experience working for the contemporary framer and art fabricator Mark Darbyshire, London, who offer specialist framing and installation services to many leading contemporary artists, galleries and collectors, including White Cube, Gagosian, The Fine Art Society and individual artists such as Damien Hirst, the Chapman Brothers, Anselm Kiefer, Gary Hume and Tracy Emin.
